We are a flat steel product service centre fully committed to meeting the needs of our customers with fast, reliable and quality service.
Cortichapa was founded in 1989 as a customer-oriented shearing and bending service centre with high quality standards. This commitment has been maintained up to the present day, passing through certain important milestones, such as the installation of the first transverse and longitudinal cutting lines in 1990 and the achievement of the ISO 9001 quality certificate in 1996.
Already in 2007, the high-precision cross-cutting line with automated magnetic stacking was installed. In 2010 and 2016 several quality certificates were obtained, such as ISO /TS 16949 and IATF 16949.
The metallurgical group Hierros Añón from A Coruña acquires Cortichapa in 2017 and the installation of the precision strip slitting line takes place in 2019. Already recently, in 2022, we have installed the new cutting optimisation software, custom developed for the Cortichapa service centre.

We have a permanent stock of 90,000 tonnes.

We have a service and delivery capacity of 1,000 tonnes per day.

The Hierros Añón Group is renowned for its extensive experience in the steel industry. In addition, it is also the largest family-owned steel distribution company in Europe. We have six production plants, eight service centres and 55 distribution centres in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium.

- Tube and profile laser cutting: 2D-3D cutting, bevelling, drilling, threading.
